UK Regional Sections

If you don't already, why not go along to the meetings of your local Regional Section or a Specialist Group? Regional Sections cover the full range of horological subjects in their programmes and in their members' interests, as well as an interest in local horology.

Attendance and participation in the activities of these groups can be one of the most rewarding benefits of Society membership. Currently only about one third of the membership participate in these activities. It is realised of course that for many members various factors impact upon their ability to attend such meetings. However, that being said, the Society would still like to encourage members to attend local or specialist meetings whenever possible.

Membership of a Regional Section is open to any person who is a member of the Antiquarian Horological Society. On joining, AHS Members may elect to be affiliated with one or more regional or national sections or one of the specialist interest groups. Full details of how to become an AHS member are given here.

Details of the times and locations of all AHS meetings are shown on the Programme page.

If you are interested in finding out more about any of the AHS Sections, you can contact each Section's Secretary via e-mail at the main AHS office. Prospective members are also very welcome to attend any of the Society’s meetings without obligation.
